Ill-gotten treasures are of no value, but righteousness delivers from death. Prov 10:2
In order for "Jehovah's Witnesses" to be clear on how to donate
to the organization, most likely much work was involved in putting together a 32 page brochure outlining clearly the many ways to give financial support to the Organization.
Yes, 32 pages of clear, concise
ways to donate. Contrast this with unclear, disheveled direction in cases of child abuse over the years, which comes in reams of paperwork devoid of true guidance.
of the Watchtower's attempt at correcting failed prophesy:
“In the past, we THOUGHT that the great tribulation began in 1914 when World War I started. We THOUGHT that Jehovah “cut short”
those days in 1918 when the war ended so that the remaining anointed ones on earth could preach the good news to all nations. (Matthew 24:21, 22) After that preaching work would
be completed, we EXPECTED that Satan’s world would be destroyed. So we THOUGHT that there were three parts to the great tribulation. It would begin in 1914, it would be interrupted in 1918, and it would finish at Armageddon.” “Tell
Us, When Will These Things Be” ws13 7/15 pp. 3-8 (caps mine)
Do they have the ability to make clear and straight the paths of the Lord?
In the Watchtower Organization, earthly wealth takes priority over the spiritual blessings and guidance, given by following Christ's straight paths. This should clue us in on the wayward direction God's people are following!
True spiritual guidance is not a guessing work of changing doctrine, but is clear and concise through following and listening to our Master, Christ.
“To you, O men,
And my voice is to the sons of men.
O you simple ones, understand prudence,
And you fools, be of an understanding heart.
Listen, for I will speak of excellent things,
And from the opening of my lips will come right things;
For my mouth will speak truth;
Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
All the words of my mouth are with righteousness;
Nothing crooked or perverse is in
They are all plain to him who understands,
And right to those who find knowledge.
my instruction, and not silver,
And knowledge rather than choice gold;
For wisdom is better than rubies,
And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her. Prov 8:4-11
