Hear my prayer, O Lord; let my cry come to you!

“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” Luke 19:38

The organization holds honest-hearted ones captive.  They speak of peace within its walls, when "there is no peace".

They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.  Jer 6:14

Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaks deceitfully; with his mouth each speaks peace to his neighbor, but in his heart he plans an ambush for him.  Jer 9:8

We cannot "wait on Jehovah" to remedy the situation, but we turn directly to Him and His Son, whom he declared from the heavens, "Listen to him!" Through God's son, Zion will reach its glory.

Hear my prayer, O Lord;
let my cry come to you!
Do not hide your face from me
    in the day of my distress!
Incline your ear to me;
    answer me speedily in the day when I call!

For my days pass away like smoke,
    and my bones burn like a furnace.
My heart is struck down like grass and has withered;
    I forget to eat my bread.
Bcause of my loud groaning
    my bones cling to my flesh.
I am like a desert owl of the wilderness,
    like an owl of the waste places;
I lie awake;
    I am like a lonely sparrow on the housetop.
All the day my enemies taunt me;
    those who deride me use my name for a curse.
For I eat ashes like bread
    and mingle tears with my drink,
because of your indignation and anger;
    for you have taken me up and thrown me down.
My days are like an evening shadow;
    I wither away like grass.

But you, O Lord, are enthroned forever;
    you are remembered throughout all generations.
You will arise and have pity on Zion;
    it is the time to favor her;
    the appointed time has come.
For your servants hold her stones dear
    and have pity on her dust.
Nations will fear the name of the Lord,
    and all the kings of the earth will fear your glory.
For the Lord builds up Zion;
    he appears in his glory;
he regards the prayer of the destitute
    and does not despise their prayer.

Let this be recorded for a generation to come,
    so that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord:
that he looked down from his holy height;
    from heaven the Lord looked at the earth,
to hear the groans of the prisoners,
    to set free those who were doomed to die,
that they may declare in Zion the name of the Lord,
    and in Jerusalem his praise,
when peoples gather together,
    and kingdoms, to worship the Lord.

He has broken my strength in midcourse;
    he has shortened my days.
“O my God,” I say, “take me not away
    in the midst of my days—
you whose years endure
    throughout all generations!”

Of old you laid the foundation of the earth,
    and the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you will remain;
    they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
   but you are the same, and your years have no end.
The children of your servants shall dwell secure;
    their offspring shall be established before you.

Psalm 102

  • "What More Have I to do with Idols?"

    To the Lord of your God,
    For you have stumbled because of your iniquity.
    Take words with you and return to the Lord.
    Say to Him, "Take away all iniquity and receive us graciously,
    That we may present the fruit of our lips.
    "Assyria will not save us,
    We will not ride on horses;
    Nor will we say again, 'Our god,'
    To the work of our hands;
    For in You the orphan finds mercy."

    I will heal their apostasy,
    I will love them freely,
    For My anger has turned away from them.
    I will be like the dew to Israel;
    He will blossom like the lily,
    And he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon.
    His shoots will sprout,
    And his beauty will be like the olive tree
    And his fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon.
    Those who live in his shadow
    Will again raise grain,
    And they will blossom like the vine. His renown will be like the wine of Lebanon.

    O Ephraim, what more have I to do with IDOLS?
    It is I who answer and look after you.
    I am like a luxuriant cypress;
    From Me comes your fruit.

    Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
    Whoever is discerning, let him know them.

    For the ways of the Lord are right,
    And the righteous will walk in them,
    But transgressors will stumble in them. Hos 14:1-9

  • Who Should Receive Our Loyalty?

    Then he said to me, “Son of man, lift up your eyes now toward the north.” So I lifted up my eyes toward the north, and behold, north of the altar gate, in the entrance, was this IMAGE OF JEALOUSY. And he said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel are committing here, to drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see still greater abominations.”

    And he brought me to the entrance of the court, and when I looked, behold, there was a hole in the wall. Then he said to me, “Son of man, dig in the wall.” So I dug in the wall, and behold, there was an entrance. And he said to me, “Go in, and see the vile abominations that they are committing here.” So I went in and saw. And there, engraved on the wall all around, was every form of creeping things and loathsome beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel.

    Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in his room of pictures? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’” Ezek 8:5-10,12

    Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scoffers,
    who rule this people in Jerusalem!

    Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death,
    and with Sheol we have an agreement,
    when the overwhelming whip passes through it will not come to us,
    for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter” Isa 28:14,15

    By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous. 1 John 3:10-12

    Thus says the Lord,
    “CURSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN MANKIND AND MAKES FLESH HIS STRENGTH, And whose heart turns away from the Lord.
    “For he will be like a bush in the desert
    And will not see when prosperity comes,
    But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness,
    A land of salt without inhabitant."

    “BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN THE LORD And whose trust is the Lord.
    “For he will be like a tree planted by the water,
    That extends its roots by a stream
    And will not fear when the heat comes;
    But its leaves will be green,
    And it will not be anxious in a year of drought
    Nor cease to yield fruit."
    Jer 17:5-8

  • Be Alert to False Prophets!

    Thus says the Lord of hosts,
    “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you.
    They are leading you into futility;
    THEY SPEAK A VISION OF THEIR OWN IMAGINATION, NOT FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD.

    “They keep saying to those who despise Me,
    ‘The Lord has said, “You will have PEACE”’;
    And as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart,
    THEY SAY 'CALAMITY WILL NOT COME UPON YOU.'

    “But who has stood in the council of the Lord,
    That he should see and hear His word?
    Who has given heed to His word and listened?
    “Behold, the storm of the Lord has gone forth in wrath,
    Even a whirling tempest;
    It will swirl down on the head of the wicked.

    “The anger of the Lord will not turn back
    Until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart;
    In the last days you will clearly understand it.

    “I DID NOT SEND THESE PROPHETS, BUT THEY RAN. I DID NOT SPEAK TO THEM, BUT THEY PROPHESIED.

    “But if they had stood in My council,
    Then they would have announced My words to My people,
    And would have turned them back from their evil way
    And from the evil of their deeds." Jer 23:16-22

    “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves." Matt 7:15

The Rise of Zion

A comparison between Isaiah 2:1-5 and Revelation 22:1-5

Isa.2:1-5:
This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:

2 In the last days (2Tim.3:1,5,7-8Matt.24:3Rev.1:10)
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established
    as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
    and all nations will stream to it.
3 Many peoples will come and say,

“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord
(Isa.56:72Pet.1:18Zech.8:2-3Joel3:17Rev.14:1),
    to the temple (1Pet.2:51Cor.3:16Eph.2:20-22,10) of the God of Jacob (Isa.10:20-21).
He will teach us his ways (Matt.28:20Mal.2:7),
    so that we may walk in his paths.”
(Isa.30:2140:311:16Mal.3:14:5-6Matt.17:11,3,2Mal.4:1-3Rev.1:16)
The law will go out from Zion (Ps.110:2Rev.14:1,31Cor.14:154:1Rev.5:9,10Isa.48:20),
    the word of the Lord from Jerusalem (Rev.21:2,33:12).
4 He will judge between the nations
    and will settle disputes for many peoples.
(Luke12:511Cor.11:18-194:513:10Rev.1:1John16:13,8Ps.94:21Rev.6:9,1113:15,7)
They will beat their swords into plowshares
    and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation (Rev.17:1416:13-16Matt.24:7,21Joel2:2,1Rev.9:7,9,162Cor.10:3-5Dan.12:7Rev.6:11;Rom.6:5),
    nor will they train for war anymore.
5 Come, descendants of Jacob (Acts2:39Deut.6:6-81Cor.4:15),  let us walk in the light of the Lord.
------------
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever."
------------
"In the last days
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established" (Isa.2:2)
How will this take place?

Jesus spoke of how mere humans can be enabled in the time of the end, for this purpose.
"To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— 27 that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’—just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give that one the morning star. 29 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

This gift of the "morning star", is receiving direct light/spirit from that morning star

How will the "spirit" speak "to the churches"?
Again at Rev.22:16, it will be by means of Christ's "angel"/messenger. That one will speak the spirit (John16:131Cor.2:13) which "inspires the prophets" (Rev.22:6,8,9Luke1:171Cor.14:32).

That spirit inspires the "two" last prophets (Rev.11:3) (Rev.11:3,4Zech.4:14,10,9Matt.17:1,2,3). Do these receive the "morning star"? (Zech.4:14,11,12)
Is that light from Christ used for "Elijah" to "restore all things"? (Matt.17:3,11).

Is the "restoration" the healing of the rift between God and "Jacob"? (Luke1:16,17Mal.4:6)

Note Isa.49:6:
"he says: "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have keptI will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth."

When we view the context of Isa.49:6; the connection to the two scriptures you cite, becomes apparent...
See Isa.49:8,9,12:
8 This is what the Lord says:
“In the time of my favor I will answer you,
    and in the day of salvation I will help you;
I will keep you and will make you
    to be a covenant for the people,
to restore the land
    and to reassign its desolate inheritances,
to say to the captives, ‘Come out,’
    and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’
12 See, they will come from afar—
    some from the north, some from the west (Isa.2:2 E)

"A light to the Gentiles" (Isa.49:642:6)
"...to those in darkness, 'Be free!'" (Isa.49:960:2)

Do you remember where this light originated? (Rev.2:2822:16)
This light is sourced in the "morning star" of dawn.

"“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
    and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth (Isa.49:9)
    and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you (Rev.2:28)
    and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light, (Isa.2:349:7Rev.21:26,24)
    and kings to the brightness of your dawn." (2Pet.1:19 CRev.2:28)

The last prophet(s) will receive the light of the dawn of the Kingdom, directly from Christ,
who causes his "two witnesses" to prophesy, by means of God's spirit.

Who is this "angel" who bares to John the scroll of Revelation?
That angel is named in Isa.49:5, and we see now, that this "angel" is a human prophet (Rev.22:6,8,91:20Heb.2:22Cor.10:6Heb.2:5,16;1:7Ps.104:439:3), who has been given the "morning star".

"And now says the LORD, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him (For I am honored in the sight of the LORD, And My God is My strength).
This capitalized "new name" is assigned to this "daughter of Zion" (Isa.52:1,2)...
Yes, this "daughter" represents her "mother"/covenant, Zion (Gal.4:26)...

"Awake, awake, Zion,
    clothe yourself with strength! (Rev.12:1)
Put on your garments of splendor,
    Jerusalem, the holy city.
The uncircumcised and defiled
    will not enter you again. (Rev.22:1521:27) (Rev.11:2Mark13:14)
2 Shake off your dust;
    rise up (Isa.60:1), sit enthroned, Jerusalem.
Free yourself from the chains on your neck,
    Daughter Zion, now a captive."

This "daughter Zion" who herself needs to be set free, before she can "shed light" to free all the nations ("to the ends of the earth" -Isa.49:6) from darkness, (Jer.31:22,23,21Ps.45:10Isa.43:18,19Rev.12:6)
is given a name,
"And My God is My strength" (Rev.2:17Isa.49:5Ps.28:6,718:273:26).
How is that name spoken in Hebrew?

GABRIEL =  God is my strength ... a combination of the root g-b-r, meaning powerful, mighty or strong, united with el, meaning God. (From http://wahiduddin.net/words/99_pages/app_d_hebrew.htm)

This is the same "angel"/messenger, sent to John by Jesus, "to show his slaves the things which must shortly take place" by means of the Revelation scroll (Dan.8:15,16,17,19John16:13Hab.2:3Rev.22:6,10).

Create in Me a Pure Heart, O God!

And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Ps 51:10

The Lord is a God who avenges.
    O God who avenges, shine forth.
 Rise up, Judge of the earth;
    pay back to the proud what they deserve.
 How long, Lord, will the wicked,
    how long will the wicked be jubilant?

 They pour out arrogant words;
    all the evildoers are full of boasting.
They crush your people, Lord;
    they oppress your inheritance.
They slay the widow and the foreigner;
    they murder the fatherless.
 They say, “The Lord does not see;
    the God of Jacob takes no notice.”

 Take notice, you senseless ones among the people;
    you fools, when will you become wise?
 Does he who fashioned the ear not hear?
    Does he who formed the eye not see?
 Does he who disciplines nations not punish?
    Does he who teaches mankind lack knowledge?
 The Lord knows all human plans;
    he knows that they are futile.

 Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord,
    the one you teach from your law;
 you grant them relief from days of trouble,
    till a pit is dug for the wicked.
For the Lord will not reject his people;
    he will never forsake his inheritance.
 Judgment will again be founded on righteousness,
    and all the upright in heart will follow it.

 Who will rise up for me against the wicked?
    Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?
 Unless the Lord had given me help,
    I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
 When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
    your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
 When anxiety was great within me,
    your consolation brought me joy.

Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—
    a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?
The wicked band together against the righteous
    and condemn the innocent to death.

But the Lord has become my fortress,
    and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.

He will repay them for their sins
    and destroy them for their wickedness;
    the Lord our God will destroy them.  Psalm 94
